Our collection begins with the best value cubby houses around, but of course we would say that. So here’s why we think so.

Great size: Its quite spacious with a door that has seen mummy, daddy and even grandma lured in at time to play. Many cheaper cubby houses are simply tiny and unfortunately grown out of really quickly. Plus it’s a bit boring if it only fits one! So make sure you check sizes when comparing.

Material: Well this one is low density polyethylene (LDPE) wow technical. Its like a plastic, we say “like” because many budget plastic ones warp quite easily. The LDPE our cubby is made from is double walled, sort of hollow, meaning it is stronger but also not as heavy as timber. And not as much work to put together…more on that in a moment.

Safety: This is an important one and something we really like about this design. The material is naturally softer than most and because of the molded design there are no sharp, pointy corners. No sharp corners, that is important. Naturally there is the potential of slamming fingers where doors open and close but the rounded edges certainly reduce the risk compared to harder, sharper materials. The hinges have a clever rounded design too, that greatly reduce finger trap risk – something to be wary of when comparing.

Easy to assemble: The cubby house is really easy to put together. Its is a bulky item because of its size but basically the walls interlock. Then the 3 piece roof fits together, there are about 8 plastic screws securing everything and its done.
Indoor or outdoor use: We recommend indoor or undercover use like a back deck. The material is suitable for outdoor use but will weather faster and fading of colours can occur in direct sunlight. We would suggest have atleast a shade cloth covering if completely outdoor.

Moveable: Our one has been inside and out, turned this way and that, each time giving a bit of new life or to play a new role.

It may say “fairy” but for our daughter this has been everything from a fairy hideaway, a princess castle, kitchen, shop, cafe, toy hospital, tinkering workshop, a zoo, dinosaur enclosure, chill out room, pirate ship, hideout, craft room and toy box to name a few…

Kids imaginations are amazing, and it warms our hearts to see them at play and be creative in a cubby house. They have such great fun, and we are confident your family will get great value from a Fairies Live Here cubby house.

• Pick up is available from Riverwood NSW 2210, (a ute or large van is required).

• Interstate delivery is not offered for these cubbies. Only delivering to Sydney and surrounds.
