We use a freight company for delivery. Deliveries are Monday to Friday and require one able person to be home and assist the driver. Delivery is to the front door only and there must be clear level access. The cubby is in one carton, approximately 50kg, 128 x 138 x 55cm. Special arrangements can be made if this is not the case – please contact us for a quote where access issues, stairs or assistance is needed.
Pick up is available from Riverwood (south west Sydney) NSW 2210. Very reasonable delivery costs for Georges River council area. Weekend delivery may be possible locally – please contact us to discuss.
No. The cubby is supplied with a plastic screwdriver and plastic screws that hold the cubby house together. The walls are designed to clip together as with the roof to create a very sturdy structure.
It is a very simple interlocking design with approximately 8 screws to hold the wall and roof components together. With our easy to follow instructions and two people it should be about 15-20 minutes.
Well this one is low density polyethylene (LDPE) wow technical. Its like a plastic, we say “like” because many budget plastic ones warp quite easily. The LDPE our cubby is made from is double walled, sort of hollow, meaning it is stronger but also not as heavy as timber. So no splinters and not as much work to put together. LDPE is very hygienic product often used in food grade storage, and is very stable.
One of the benefits is how easy it is to clean, warm soapy simply works the best.
